DARKNESS

November 17, 2015

I’m getting ushered in, it’s dark and dust ridden. I smell a faint hue of magnolia. I hear whispers, becoming louder and louder as I get closer to my seat.

Flash of light; I blink and the darkness is gone, whispers no more. The dust remains. I feel it on my fingertips as they grip the armrest on my seat.

Silence so sharp it could cut my throat. The silence is replaced by shrieks of ecstasy. I look at my arms again, they’re tied. Light shining into my cranium. I get distracted by that smell again. Lavender was it?

I hear a switch flip.

Then silence.
